I'd just like a darn phone number so I can talk to a real person! You may call Nathanael Logsdon at (812) 606-1264. He has hearing issues, four small children and a house with a tin roof, so you're probably better off leaving a message because he never hears the phone ring. He will, however, call you back... Eventually.

Can I participate if I don't have an antique car or am not able to camp?Yes. Any CIVILIAN reenactors from 1890-1935 are welcome. We are limiting military reenactors to ONLY AMERICAN impressions portrayed as ON AMERICAN SOIL. No overseas impressions, battles, or foreign military. If you are unable to camp, or don't wish to, you can still participate in the daytime activities. Unfortunately, being in the heart of the Hoosier National Forest, there are very few hotels nearby, the most suitable being in Corydon, Indiana. There are several nice B&B's in the area as well. Full hookup campsites are available at O'Bannon Woods State Park.

How can I donate funds to help support the event costs?Yes, the event is free to participants, however, it does cost a bit to create this sort of program, including preparation of the grounds, portable toilets, entertainment, and etc. If you would like to help, you may make a donation of any amount via PayPal to nationalmotorcamp@gmail.com We will also hold a silent auction the weekend of the event. You may donate your items when you arrive on site.

Are vendors allowed at this event?Short answer, yes. However, we do have a jury process to make sure that the vendors we accept are going to add to the overall experience of the event and not detract from it. We are interested in vendors who can meet the following criteria: 1) Are selling goods, either reproduction or antique, that pertain to the first quarter of the 20th century AND would be used on a family vacation trip in that period. We are currently not interested in food vendors, car parts vendors, or "flea market" vendors. 2) Are able to display their wares in a fashion that evokes the period and fits in with the camp. This could be as simple as laying a few blankets or a canvas tarp on the ground to display goods, or as complex as a canvas tent. Modern tables may be used provided they are covered with a cloth. We are not interested in vendors who use plastic tarps or E-Z-Up style tents. 3) Are willing to help support the event by wearing historical clothing, adhering to our event requirements and by paying a small, $50 merchant fee.
